Turquoise and burgundy boards with gold writing on spine; heart with wings embossed in gold on front board. Top and bottom of book spine slightly rumpled; this edition NOT issued with dust jacket but rather with blue cloth slipcase. Small mark on top right corner of one side of slipcase; book has overall tight binding and pages still look in excellent condition.

Harcourt Brace Jovanovich First Edition, First Printing Thus as indicated by "First Edition" and letter line of "A B C D E" listed on copyright page. Author's signature on tipped-in page by publisher; page also states "This collector's edition has been specially bound and has been signed by the author."
